Neuscharfeneck
An excellent view of Neuscharfeneck from the tower of the forward defenses. The original castle was positioned atop the stone escarpment seen upper center.

Below, a view of the rebuilt tower that protected the gates of the forward defenses.
Right, a loophole positioned near the main gate.

Below, a view of the blacksmith shop. A close examination reveals that there is still a significant debris field within the ruins.
Right, an authentic molding for an entrance, this positioned between the south wall (on the right) and the main structure on the left.

Below, a reverse view looking back to the west with what is left of the main tower of the castle.
A view of steps and a path taking one into the center of the castle grounds.  The steps are not authentic, but the entrance moldings and posts, such as the one to the left of the steps, are.
