Windeck / Wachenburg

A few more views of Windeck.  The stairs to the right are of recent construction, while the entrance below shows signs of significant repair.

Left, the Wachenburg is not a true castle as it was built in 1906 to be a convalescent home for aging military veterans. 

Below, a few views within Wachenburg.  The construction was in a classic Gothic style and is so good as to fool the average person.
