Ramburg
Another view within the palas of Ramburg.  There appears to have been at least three floors, a ground level and two floors above.
This piece of wall is the back side of the palas, as can be determined by some of the footings in the wall.  This section has had some extensive rebuilding.

Below, two views of a piece of restoration work that fell from the wall.  The front side (right) shows a brick facade while the photo on the left shows the back of this section and how it was pasted to the wall.
Left, a view of one of the trails around the base of the castle.  There are surely some remains of outer walls here but they are not apparent.

An outside view of a portion of the palas.  Railings have been placed to prevent accidents but the authentic structure wouldn't have had such railings.

Below, a view from Ramburg of Trifels.  Trifels, seen in the inset, is barely visible in the center of the photo.

A view of Neuscharfeneck from Ramburg.  The photo has been slightly altered in color to allow the castle to stand out clearer.
