Kyrburg
Right, a view from above looking down to the winding path that leads through the outer ward.  It is obvious that the walls have been smoothed down to stop decay.

Below, a small window between two rooms.  The molding around the window is authentic.
Left, a view overlooking another section of the castle, in this case seen from the edge of the palas.  This section had service areas for the castle, and the nature of the ground implies that it is covered by a debris field.

Below, a view from the castle looking out to the town of Kirn.
Left, another view looking over some of the service areas.  The tube to the left is one of the cisterns to collect rain water.

Below, the town of kirn visible from the ruins, the view looking to the northeast.
Below, a view towards the ruins of Steinkallenfels, situated on an incredibly inaccessible rock to the northwest of Kirn.  The stone ruins (what is left) is just visible on the right of the rock.  If you look carefully you can see some people working their way up the rock.
