Eltz
More views of the castle and some interesting details.  On the right, what is probably a gardirobe.  Below that, the view as one enters the main castle.

Below, within the small courtyard of Eltz.  The curtain wall actually serves as the functional buildings as well.
To the right, a view of some of the original structure of the earlier castle.  The well-kept appearance implies that these walls have been rebuilt some, but since the castle saw little action, it is very possible that this section is original "as-is."

While I didn't go on the tour, there is plenty to see around the castle grounds.  There are also some other interesting ruins close by that were part of the early structure and defensive layout.

Below left and right, two views (one below and one from the same ridge) of an out-lying structure that was part of the early castle.  This portion is of course just ruins today.
Below, two additional views around the castle.  Eltz is well worth the trip, and might even be worth the tour as well.
